Này là cớ Giô-suê làm phép cắt bì cho họ: Các người nam trong dân chúng đã ra khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô, tức là các chiến sĩ, đều đã chết dọc đường trong đồng vắng, sau khi ra khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô.
