Бо сорок років Ізрайлитяне блукали в пустинї, покіль усї мужі спосібні до війни, що вийшли з Египту, вимерли, тому що не слухали вони слів Господнїх; а Господь клявсь їм, що не побачать землї, котору з клятьбою обіцяв батькам їх, надїлити їм землю текучу молоком та медом;
