യോശുവ 5:9

യഹോവ യോശുവയോടു: ഇന്നു ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ നിന്ദ നിങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ഇന്നുവരെ ഗില്ഗാൽ (ഉരുൾ) എന്നു പേർ പറയുന്നു.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.
