Josua 2:18

Se, när vi kommer in i landet, ska du binda detta [hoppets] rep (hebr. tiqvah) – en scharlakansröd (hebr. shani) flätad tråd (hebr. chot) – i fönstret som du firade ner oss genom, och du ska samla till dig i huset din far och din mor och dina bröder och hela din fars hushåll. Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father’s household, home unto thee.
