โยชูวา 24:15

และถ้าท่านไม่เต็มใจที่จะปรนนิบั​ติ​พระเยโฮวาห์ ท่านทั้งหลายจงเลือกเสียในวันนี้ว่าท่านจะปรนนิบั​ติ​​ผู้ใด​ จะปรนนิบั​ติ​พระซึ่งอยู่ฟากแม่น้ำข้างโน้​นที​่บรรพบุรุษของท่านได้เคยปรนนิบั​ติ​ หรือพระของคนอาโมไรต์ในแผ่นดินซึ่งท่านอาศัยอยู่ ​แต่​ส่วนข้าพเจ้าและครอบครัวของข้าพเจ้า เราจะปรนนิบั​ติ​พระเยโฮวาห์”

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
