யோசுவா 24:18

தேசத்திலே குடியிருந்த எமோரியர்கள் முதலான எல்லா மக்களையும் யெகோவா நமக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்தினாரே; ஆகவே நாங்களும் யெகோவாவைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவோம், அவரே நம்முடைய தேவன் என்றார்கள்.

And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
