Josua 24:18

[Vi vet att] Herren har jagat i väg alla dessa folk för oss, också amoréerna som bodde i landet. Vi vill också tjäna (tillbe) Herren, för han är vår Gud.”

And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
