પછી યહોશુઆએ આ વાતો યહોવાહનાં નિયમશાસ્ત્રના પુસ્તકમાં લખી. તેણે મોટો પથ્થર લીધો અને યહોવાહનાં પવિત્રસ્થાનની બાજુમાં એલોન વૃક્ષની નીચે તેને સ્થાપિત કર્યો.

¶ And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.
