ഇതാ, യോർദ്ദാൻമുതൽ പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടു മഹാസമുദ്രംവരെ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ള ജാതികളുടെയും ഞാൻ സംഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ള സകലജാതികളുടെയും ദേശം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്കു അവകാശമായി നറുക്കിട്ടു വിഭാഗിച്ചു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.
