అతనితో ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రాలన్నిటిలో ప్రతిదానికీ ఒకరి చొప్పున పదిమంది ప్రముఖులను పంపించారు. వారంతా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ప్రతినిధులు, తమ పూర్వీకుల కుటుంబాలకు నాయకులు.
