​ดังนี้​แหละพระเยโฮวาห์ประทานแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้นแก่คนอิสราเอลดังที่​พระองค์​ทรงปฏิญาณว่าจะให้​แก่​บรรพบุรุษของเขา เมื่อเขาทั้งหลายยึดแล้​วก​็​เข​้าไปตั้​งบ​้านเมืองอยู่​ที่นั่น​

¶ And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
