యెహోవా ప్రమాణం చేసి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పూర్వీకులకిస్తానని చెప్పిన దేశమంతా ఆయన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు అప్పగించాడు. వాళ్ళు దాని స్వాధీనపరచుకుని దానిలో నివసించారు.

¶ And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
