யோசுவா 20:6

நியாயம் விசாரிக்கும் சபைக்கு முன்பாக அவன் நிற்கும்வரைக்கும், அந்த நாட்களில் இருக்கிற பிரதான ஆசாரியன் மரணமடையும்வரைக்கும், அவன் அந்தப் பட்டணத்திலே குடியிருக்கவேண்டும்; பின்பு கொலைசெய்தவன் தான் விட்டுவந்த தன்னுடைய பட்டணத்திற்கும் தன் வீட்டிற்கும் திரும்பிப்போகவேண்டும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

And he shall dwell in that city, until he stand before the congregation for judgment, and until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days: then shall the slayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto the city from whence he fled.
