તે માણસો જઈને દેશમાં બધી જગ્યાએ ફરીને નગરો પ્રમાણે સાત ભાગે યાદીમાં તેઓનું વર્ણન કર્યું, દરેક ભાગ પાડીને નગરોની યાદી બનાવી. પછી તેઓ શીલોહની છાવણીમાં યહોશુઆ પાસે પાછા આવ્યા.
