இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் பலத்து பெருகினபோதும், கானானியர்களை முழுவதும் துரத்திவிடாமல், அவர்களைக் கட்டாய வேலைக்காரர்களாக்கிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
