તે સીમા ઊતરીને કાનાના નાળાં સુધી એટલે નદીની દક્ષિણે ગઈ. એફ્રાઇમનાં આ નગરો મનાશ્શાના નગરો મધ્યે આવેલા છે. મનાશ્શાની સીમા નદીની ઉત્તર બાજુએ હતી અને તેનો છેડો ભૂમધ્ય સમુદ્રનું પાસે હતો.
