પણ હજી સુધી મનાશ્શાના પુત્રો તે નગરોને કબજે કરી શક્યા નહિ અને મૂળ રહેવાસીઓને કાઢી મૂકી શકયા નહિ એટલે કનાનીઓ આ દેશમાં રહ્યા.
