દક્ષિણ ભાગ એફ્રાઇમનો અને ઉત્તર ભાગ મનાશ્શાનો હતો, જેની સરહદ ભૂમધ્ય સમુદ્રનું પાસે હતી. તેની ઉત્તર તરફ આશેરનો અને પૂર્વ તરફ ઇસ્સાખારનો ભાગ હતો.
