అయితే గెజెరులో నివసించిన కనానీయులను వారు వెళ్ళగొట్ట లేదు. ఇప్పటి వరకూ ఆ కనానీయులు ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుల మధ్య నివసిస్తూ వారికి దాస్యం చేస్తూ ఉన్నారు.
