யோசுவா 14:4

மனாசே மற்றும் எப்பிராயீம் என்பவர்கள் யோசேப்பின் இரண்டு கோத்திரங்களானார்கள்; ஆகவே அவர்கள் லேவியர்களுக்கு தேசத்திலே பங்குகொடுக்காமல், குடியிருக்கும்படி பட்டணங்களையும், அவர்களுடைய ஆடுமாடுகள் முதலான சொத்துக்காக வெளிநிலங்களைமட்டும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.

For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
