Ma i figliuoli di Giuseppe facevano due tribù, Manasse ed Efraim; e non fu data a' Leviti alcuna parte nel paese, se non delle città per abitare, insieme co' lor contorni, per i lor bestiami, e per gli altri lor beni.

For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
