காத் கோத்திரத்திற்கு மோசே அவர்கள் வம்சங்களுக்குத் தகுந்தபடிக் கொடுத்தது என்னவென்றால்:
And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.
