Josua 11:20

Det kom från Herren att de förhärdade sina hjärtan och gick ut i strid mot Israel, för att han skulle viga dem åt förintelse och inte visa dem nåd. I stället skulle han utrota dem så som Herren hade befallt Mose.

For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
