யோசுவா 10:40

இப்படியே யோசுவா மலைத்தேசம் அனைத்தையும் தென்தேசத்தையும் சமபூமியையும் நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான இடங்களையும் அவைகளின் எல்லா ராஜாக்களையும், ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காமல் அழித்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, சுவாசமுள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் அழித்து,

¶ So Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded.
