Jozua 10:6

De mannen nu van Gibeon zonden tot Jozua, in het leger van Gilgal, zeggende: Trek uw handen niet af van uw knechten, kom haastelijk tot ons op, en verlos ons, en help ons; want al de koningen der Amorieten, die op het gebergte wonen, hebben zich tegen ons vergaderd.

¶ And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
