En hij bad tot de Here en zeide: Ach, Here, heb ik dat niet gezegd, toen ik nog in mijn land was? Daarom heb ik het willen voorkomen door naar Tarsis te vluchten, want ik wist, dat Gij een genadig en barmhartig God zijt, lankmoedig, groot van goedertierenheid en berouw hebbend over het kwaad.
