అయినా వాళ్ళు ఓడను సముద్రం ఒడ్డుకు చేర్చడానికి తెడ్లు చాలా బలంగా వేశారు. సముద్రం ఇంకా చెలరేగుతూ ఉండడం వలన అలా చెయ్య లేకపోయారు.

Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them.
