யோனா 1:14

அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு: ஆ யெகோவாவே, இந்த மனிதனுடைய ஜீவனுக்காக எங்களை அழித்துப்போடாதிரும்; குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தப்பழியை எங்கள்மேல் சுமத்தாதிரும்; தேவரீர் யெகோவா; உமக்குச் சித்தமாக இருக்கிறபடி செய்கிறீர் என்று சொல்லி,

Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.
