എന്നാൽ അവർ കരെക്കു അടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മുറുകെ തണ്ടുവലിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും സമുദ്രം കോപിച്ചു കോൾ പെരുകി വന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവർക്കു സാധിച്ചില്ല.

Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them.
