โยเอล 2:17

​ให้​​ปุ​โรหิต คือผู้​ปรนนิบัติ​พระเยโฮวาห์คร่ำครวญอยู่ระหว่างเฉลียงและแท่นบู​ชา​ ​ให้​ทูลว่า “​โอ​ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงเวทนาประชาชนของพระองค์ ขออย่าทรงกระทำให้มรดกของพระองค์เป็​นที​่ประณามกัน ​เพื่อให้​​ประชาชาติ​ครอบครองเหนือพวกเขา ควรหรือที่เขาจะกล่าวท่ามกลางชนชาติทั้งหลายว่า ‘พระเจ้าของเขาอยู่​ที่ไหน​’”

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
