ท่านผู้เฒ่าทั้งหลาย ขอจงฟังเรื่องนี้ ชาวแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้น ขอจงเงี่ยหู​ฟัง​ ​สิ​่งเหล่านี้เคยเกิดมาในสมัยของท่าน หรือเกิดมาในสมัยบรรพบุรุษของท่านบ้างหรือ

Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
