ఎగిరే మిడతల గుంపులు విడిచి పెట్టిన దాన్ని పెద్ద మిడతలు తినేశాయి. పెద్ద మిడతలు విడిచిపెట్టిన దాన్ని మిడత పిల్లలు తినేశాయి. మిడత పిల్లలు విడిచిపెట్టిన దాన్ని గొంగళిపురుగులు తినేశాయి.

That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten.
