દ્રાક્ષવેલા સુકાઈ ગયા છે અને અંજીરી પણ સુકાઈ ગઈ છે. દાડમડીના ખજૂરીનાં તેમ જ સફરજનનાં વૃક્ષોસહિત, ખેતરનાં બધાં વૃક્ષો સુકાઈ ગયાં છે. કેમ કે માનવજાતિના વંશજોમાંથી આનંદ જતો રહ્યો છે.

The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
