Sedan Herren (Jahveh) hade talat detta med Job, sa han till Elifaz – temaniten [den äldste av Jobs tre bekanta, som inledde dialogen och tog till orda först, se Job 4:1]: ”Min vrede är upptänd mot dig och dina två bekanta [Bildad och Tsofar]. Ni har inte talat det som är rätt (sant) om mig, som min tjänare Job har gjort.

¶ And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
