யோவான் 9:22

அவனுடைய பெற்றோர்கள் யூதர்களுக்குப் பயந்ததினால் இப்படிச் சொன்னார்கள். ஏனென்றால், இயேசுவைக் கிறிஸ்து என்று யாராவது அறிக்கை செய்தால் அவனை ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்குப் வெளியாக்க வேண்டும் என்று யூதர்கள் அதற்கு ஏற்கனவே முடிவு செய்திருந்தார்கள்.

These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
