ప్రజలు ఆయనను గురించి ఇలా మాట్లాడుకోవడం పరిసయ్యుల దృష్టికి వెళ్ళింది. అప్పుడు ప్రధాన యాజకులూ, పరిసయ్యులూ ఆయనను పట్టుకోడానికి సైనికులను పంపించారు.

¶ The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.
