உலகம் உங்களைப் பகைக்கமாட்டாது; அதின் செயல்கள் பொல்லாதவைகளாக இருக்கிறது என்று நான் சாட்சி கொடுக்கிறதினாலே அது என்னைப் பகைக்கிறது.

The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
