પણ તેમના પર વિશ્વાસ કરનારાઓને જે આત્મા મળવાનો હતો તે વિષે તેમણે એ કહ્યું; કેમ કે ઈસુને હજી મહિમાવાન કરવામાં આવ્યા ન હતા, માટે પવિત્ર આત્મા હજી આપવામાં આવ્યો ન હતો.

(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
