അവയിൽ വ്യാധിക്കാർ, കുരുടർ, മുടന്തർ, ക്ഷയരോഗികൾ ഇങ്ങനെ വലിയോരു കൂട്ടം [വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ഇളക്കം കാത്തുകൊണ്ടു] കിടന്നിരുന്നു.

In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
