ขณะนั้นสาวกของพระองค์​ก็​​มาถึง​ และเขาประหลาดใจที่​พระองค์​ทรงสนทนากับผู้​หญิง​ ​แต่​​ไม่มี​ใครถามว่า “​พระองค์​ทรงประสงค์​อะไร​” ​หรือ​ “ทำไมพระองค์จึงทรงสนทนากับนาง”

¶ And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
