మా పూర్వీకులు ఈ కొండ పైన ఆరాధించారు. కానీ ఆరాధించే స్థలం యెరూషలేములో ఉందనీ అందరూ అక్కడికే వెళ్ళి ఆరాధించాలనీ మీరు అంటారు” అంది. అందుకు యేసు ఇలా చెప్పాడు.

Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
