யோவான் 3:8

காற்றானது தனக்கு விருப்பமான இடத்திலே வீசுகிறது, அதின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கிறாய், ஆனாலும் அது இந்த இடத்திலிருந்து வருகிறது என்றும், இந்த இடத்திற்குப் போகிறது என்றும் உனக்குத் தெரியாது; ஆவியினால் பிறந்தவன் எவனோ அவனும் அப்படியே இருக்கிறான் என்றார்.

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
