ครั้นล่วงไปแปดวันแล้ว ​เหล่​าสาวกของพระองค์​อยู่​ด้วยกันข้างในอีก และโธมัสก็​อยู่​กับพวกเขาด้วย ​ประตู​ปิดแล้ว ​พระเยซู​เสด็จเข้ามาและประทับยืนอยู่ท่ามกลางเขาและตรั​สว​่า “​สันติ​สุขจงดำรงอยู่กั​บท​่านทั้งหลายเถิด”

¶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
