యోహాను రాసిన సువార్త 20:27

తరువాత ఆయన తోమాను చూసి, “నా చేతులు చూడు. నీ వేళ్ళతో వాటిని తాకు. అలాగే నీ చెయ్యి చాచి నా పక్కలో పెట్టు. విశ్వాసిగా ఉండు. అవిశ్వాసివి కావద్దు” అన్నాడు.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
