மரியாள் கல்லறையின் அருகே வெளியே நின்று அழுதுகொண்டிருந்தாள்; அப்படி அழுதுகொண்டிருக்கும்போது அவள் குனிந்து கல்லறைக்கு உள்ளே பார்த்து,

¶ But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
