เขาเหล่านั้​นก​็​ได้​ถามท่านว่า “ถ้าท่านไม่​ใช่​พระคริสต์ หรือเอลียาห์ หรือศาสดาพยากรณ์​ผู้​นั้นแล้ว ทำไมท่านจึงทำพิธีบัพติศมา”

And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?
