Akawajibu kwa maneno ya nabii Isaya, akisema, “Mimi ni sauti ya mtu aliaye nyikani, ‘Yanyoosheni mapito ya Bwana.’ ”

He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.
