యోహాను రాసిన సువార్త 19:10

అప్పుడు పిలాతు ఆయనతో, “నువ్వు నాతో మాట్లాడవా? నిన్ను విడుదల చెయ్యడానికీ, సిలువ వెయ్యడానికీ, నాకు అధికారం ఉందని నీకు తెలియదా?” అన్నాడు.

Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
