Toen Pilatus die woorden hoorde, liet hij Jezus naar buiten leiden en ging hij op de rechterstoel zitten, op een plaats die het Mozaïekterras genoemd wordt, of Gabbata in het Aramees.

¶ When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
