യോഹന്നാൻ 19:12

ഇതു നിമിത്തം പീലാത്തൊസ് അവനെ വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. യഹൂദന്മാരോ: നീ ഇവനെ വിട്ടയച്ചാൽ കൈസരുടെ സ്നേഹിതൻ അല്ല; തന്നെത്താൻ രാജാവാക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം കൈസരോടു മത്സരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു ആർത്തുപറഞ്ഞു.

And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Cæsar’s friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Cæsar.
